Journalist of TSN and "Spetskor" Evgenia Tsvetanska was awarded an honorary state award

Recently, the correspondent of TSN ("1+1") and "Spetskor" news ("2+2") Yevgenia Tsvetanska was awarded the medal "For assistance to the Armed Forces of Ukraine", which is awarded for a significant personal contribution to the development of the Armed Forces of Ukraine. The application for awarding the journalist was made by the head of the Anti-Terrorist Operation, Lieutenant General Mykhailo Zabrodskyi, who personally awarded Evgenia during an interdepartmental coordination meeting with representatives of the ATO forces in Kramatorsk.

"For some reason, journalists always receive awards, although there is a large team behind the scenes, including operators and drivers, who also risk their lives during business trips to the East. Of course, we do not work for awards, but it is extremely nice to "contribute" to our Armed Forces," comments Yevgenia Tsvetanska.

Yevgenia Tsvetanska started working in "Breakfast with 1+1", where she shot the tourist column "Cities. My Guide". In the summer of 2013, Tsvetanska joined the editorial office of "Spetskor" and TSN news, and already in October 2014 she started working in the ATO zone in the Luhansk direction. She was supposed to shoot social stories from the front-line cities, but already during the first business trip, of her own accord, she went to the thick of things - the city of Shchastya, which at that time was under fire from militants. Evgenia's stories became an integral part of TSN and Spetskor issues, because they showed the hottest events from the frontline. Her courage and courage are admired by her colleagues and the Ukrainian military, who always look forward to her visits.

It should be noted that the incentive award of the Ministry of Defense of Ukraine - the medal "For assistance to the Armed Forces of Ukraine" is awarded to servicemen of military formations created in accordance with the laws of Ukraine (except for servicemen of the Armed Forces of Ukraine), employees of the Armed Forces of Ukraine, as well as other persons for significant personal contribution to the cause of development of the Armed Forces of Ukraine.
