1+1 Media summarizes the results of the second quarter of 2025 in terms of corporate social responsibility, partnerships, and special events.
Key outcomes are outlined in the material below.

Volunteering, blood donation, and children’s dreams: 1+1 Media’s social responsibility vector
1+1 Media implements numerous initiatives aimed at building a barrier-free society, fostering inner resilience, and discovering new meanings. As part of the Make a Dream Come True project, from April to June 2025, the team fulfilled 4 intangible wishes of children who lost their parents due to the war. Two of these dreams came true during the filming of the Christmas comedy The Guardians of Christmas by 1+1 Media: Children of Heroes who dream of working in film visited the set.
The Grove of Children's Dreams initiative also continued. It aims to create a culture of remembrance through planting paradise apple trees in memory of children whose lives were cut short by Russia’s war against Ukraine. In May 2025, 1+1 Media and the "Greening Ukraine" Charitable Foundation planted 50 memorial trees in the village of Kozyntsi, Kyiv region.
Additionally, volunteering remains an integral part of 1+1 Media's corporate culture. In the second quarter of 2025, the corporate team took part in 2 charity runs, a blood donation day at the company’s office, over 10 social activities, a volunteer trip to the animal shelter “DvorNyashkam Dim,” and collected around 250 kg of clothes for internally displaced persons. The Foodtruck — Food Without Borders initiative, in partnership with other organizations, also prepared and distributed over 130,000 servings of hot meals to rescuers, medics, police officers, and civilians affected by shelling in Sumy region.
The Kyivstar TV team is also actively contributing to important changes: the platform collaborates with the NGO “Agents of Blood” and promotes blood donation in Ukraine. Thus, everyone who donates blood at a partner center receives a promo code for 30 days of free access to content on Kyivstar TV, as well as a themed pin that says “The real superhero is you.”
In the second quarter of 2025, the initiative attracted about 3,000 donors. Additionally, thanks to the special “Kyivstar TV Charity” package, the platform raised over 180,000 UAH to support pediatric medicine. Every user who activates the “Charity” package automatically helps children, as up to 40% of its cost is directed to support the “Child’s Hope” initiative.
Moreover, on June 14, for World Blood Donor Day, the platform launched the project “Help is in Your Blood” — a video interview series between donors and the people whose lives they saved.
Interaction with veterans and remembrance culture
1+1 Media has been working with the veteran sector for over 11 years to support the smooth reintegration into civilian life for those returning from the front lines. The company also utilizes digital resources to promote this topic among Ukrainians.
On June 26, the project Life After Scars successfully premiered on the 1+1 Ukraine channel, achieving a 7.8% audience share among viewers aged 18–54 (50k+). This docu-reality series tells the stories of veterans reintegrating into civilian life and aims to help both those returning from the front and those close to them. New episodes air every Thursday at 10:30 on 1+1 Ukraine. Topics include veteran support, workplace adaptation, and the ability to listen and be heard. Additionally, 5 episodes of the digital rubric Life After Scars were published on social media.
Supporting military personnel, veterans, and honoring fallen heroes is an integral part of 1+1 media’s social mission. Every day, stories of defenders who gave their lives for Ukraine are featured on “Breakfast with 1+1.” These stories, alongside the national minute of silence, help shape a culture of remembrance — a daily habit of honoring and thanking those who sacrificed their lives for our future.
Moreover, company employees are creating platforms for communication with veterans. In May 2025, with the support of 1+1 Media, the Veterans’ Reintegration Conference was held, and the TET channel hosted four “I Love Ukraine” games at Tytanovi, Heart of Azovstal, and the “Zaporuka” Charitable Foundation.
Barrier-free access: animated series for children in sign language
Kyivstar TV, together with the PLUSPLUS channel and the NGO “Barrier-Free,” translated new episodes of the animated series “Ukraine. Unconquered Cities” about Kharkiv and Mykolaiv into sign language. The initiative aims to make patriotic content accessible for children with hearing impairments and promote inclusiveness in media. The cartoons are already available on Kyivstar TV and the PLUSPLUS YouTube channel.
Partnerships and new projects
1+1 Media regularly supports socially significant projects and initiatives. In the second quarter of 2025, the company implemented 23 partnerships with brands and events, including collaborations with VDNG, Forbes, ELLE, Book Arsenal, Veterans’ Reintegration Conference, Strong Spirits Games, Global Teacher Prize, Run Ukraine, Atlas Festival and others. Currently, 16 partnerships are ongoing.
Among the major events were the first international percussion competition-festival in Ukraine for children and youth — Drum Island Fest — and the free children’s and youth film festival Children Kinofest, with PLUSPLUS channel as the general partner of the events.
Kyivstar TV, together with 1+1 Media, also became a partner of the audience film festival Mykolaychuk OPEN and Children Kinofest. This collaboration is part of the platform's social focus on supporting and developing Ukrainian cinema.
Additionally, 1+1 Media completed filming its own full-length feature film The Guardians of Christmas. The lead roles were played by Stanislav Boklan, Mykhailo Kukuiuk, and Ivan Blyndar. The film was shot over 40 days, with 250 people involved in the most large-scale scene, and over 1 hectare of land was covered with artificial snow in summer to create a winter atmosphere. The film will be released in theaters this year.
Employee and youth development
1+1 Media regularly organizes internal initiatives aimed at the education and personal development of its employees. From April to June 2025, 28 educational events were held for the team, 10 hours of the conversation club “Plus Ukrainian”, and 3 Book Clubs. Additionally, 21 people had the opportunity to intern at 1+1 media through the “Closer to TV” program. Four of them have already become employees of the company.

Recently, 1+1 media received 14 awards, including first place in the “Responsible Country 3.0” competition, awards from Ukrainian Design: The Very Best Of 2025, Vchasno.Best, 3 honors at the X-RAY Marketing Projects Competition, the grand prize at the international Content Warsaw Copro Pitch 2025, and 6 awards at the VIII BigData Awards Ceremony.
