1+1 media has launched a brand protection service on the Internet

1+1 media group announced the launch of a brand protection service on the Internet. The new service works within the framework of the SUDUM project and helps fight against fraudulent sites that illegally use the identity of other companies.

The service is designed for businesses that actively communicate with customers and partners through their own sites. One of the first clients of the brand protection service on the Internet was the Mriya agricultural holding, whose reputation was previously at risk due to the publication of fraudulent duplicate sites.

SUDUM monitors Google search results 24/7 and popular social networks for illegal use of customer identities. When a violation is detected, the system automatically sends complaints about the resource to the hosting provider, Google, the administration of social networks, thereby contributing to its blocking and removal from search results.

"At first, we ourselves faced the problem of improper use of the identity of our brands and photos of TV presenters to advertise dubious products on the Internet. As soon as we automated the fight against fraudulent resources and saw in this service an opportunity to be useful not only in-house, then, as in the case of blocking pirated content, we decided to offer our service to the market," comments Anna Tkachenko, director of the digital direction of 1+1 media .
