I managed to get closer to my most cherished dream.
Confucius said: "Choose a job you like and you will never have to work a day in your life." You know, I see this almost every day. Working on television is my childhood dream. And now it is becoming a reality.
My path to the cherished position of intern at 1+1 media was not easy. Numerous doubts, filming a video resume, performing test tasks and interviews. Then three months of waiting and finally such a welcome call from the HR department, which I didn't even expect. A few more weeks and I am holding a name pass in my hands, hung on a bright red ribbon with the words "trainee". Now I am an information producer of documentaries.
What do I do? I work with information. In particular, I am searching for interesting stories and characters for a future documentary film. Then I look for contacts of such people and form letters of inquiry. Yes, in a day you can read hundreds of Internet publications, watch dozens of news stories and even read a book. The highest reward for such work is to see how the discovered story comes to life before your eyes, how its characters become real, and their feelings are sometimes painfully close to you.
However, internship at 1+1 media is not limited to this. Various excursions and seminars are created for us. By the way, here they are much more interesting and more practical than at the university.
Another event that I will probably never forget is meeting interns from other departments. What creative people they are! And they do so many interesting things... After this meeting, I realized that I would like to try myself at almost every existing vacancy in the company. All the same, it is nice to realize that you are a part of this great television team!
It would be completely unfair not to say anything about the team in which I found myself. My manager is always happy to help and give advice, and the other female interns seem to be on the same wavelength as me, just as proactive and full of ideas.
So, anyone who has doubts about participating in an internship program, throw them away. You will never understand what you are capable of until you try something on yourself. I managed to get closer to my most cherished dream, so why can't you?
