1+1 media group starts blackouts of its TV channels

As part of the implementation of the satellite television signal coding project, from November 4, the 1+1 media group will start blackouts of its channels - that is, short-term pendulum disconnections of the signal to satellite subscribers. The blackouts will continue until the encoding of the signal, which is scheduled for January 20, 2020. Blackouts will take place on TV channels "1+1", "2+2" and "TET" in prime time and will last for 2 minutes. At this time , the image broadcast of the programs of the above-mentioned TV channels will be completely covered by a block, which will contain information about the coding of the satellite signal of the following content:

"WARNING! This message is just for you! Already at the beginning of 2020, the satellite signal of this and other Ukrainian TV channels will be encoded! To be able to watch them in the future, contact the official TV operator immediately!"

Outages will occur in order to draw the attention of viewers who use the satellite type of signal reception to the approach of encoding, as well as to encourage them to replace their receiving equipment - tuners in advance. Additional information about coding is available on the website of the 1+1 media group . For subscribers who do not wish to continue watching television via satellite, other alternative modern methods are available: over-the-air broadcasting (T2), cable OTT or IPTV television.
