Lidia Taran and the Make a Dream Project will support seriously ill children during the quarantine

The country's largest charitable media project will continue to fulfill the dreams of seriously ill children in a different format

In connection with the pandemic of the coronavirus infection COVID-19 and the announcement of quarantine in Kyiv and throughout Ukraine, the charity project 1+1 media Make a dream come true, which realizes the dreams of seriously ill children, will limit travel, visits to hospitals and mass events, and will also temporarily change the format work

Now the project team will maximally support dreamers online. And magicians who want to help realize the dreams of young hospital patients and give them positive emotions will contact the children via video link, on TV, and send video messages, reviews, creative videos or photos to the dreamers.

"In any situation, we continue to give our wards positive emotions. But in no case will we expose them to danger. Therefore, during this period, we decided with the team: we will make our dreams come true virtually! Now there are a lot of new technologies, and there are many friends at Make a Dream come true, so we will make this process no less interesting. And we will give you hope for the best, because we know that dreams always come true , " comments the curator of the event, host of TSN on 1+1 Lidia Taran.

The 15-year-old ward of the project Maria-Angela Movchko , who is fighting cancer, has already received the first video appeal from Scotland, because the girl really dreamed of visiting the land of castles and ponies in sweaters. "There are no weekends or quarantines in the work of wizards. We continue to unite caring people around dreamers, but now online. And we started this format with a video greeting from Valeria Robins for our young dreamer Mariyka Movchko. In the video itself, the girl showed Maria incredibly beautiful landscapes - what our girl drew, and promised to make an excursion for Maryka on the spot, as soon as there is an opportunity to fly in," shared the volunteer of the Make a dream come true project, the host of Breakfast with 1+ 1 Nelya Shovkoplyas.

The psychologist of the project Maria Abramchuk believes that the time of quarantine is a great opportunity to unite and show care for each other. "Parents have an important mission to be in touch with their support point to provide support to the child. With creativity, you can make an exciting safety plan for the family, gamify the process of washing hands and changing street clothes to home clothes. And also draw together stories about how scientists overcome the virus! And of course - draw dreams and believe in them, believe in the best. Psychological support and therapy with positive emotions are especially important," psychologist Maria Abramchuk shares her advice.

We will remind that the Commission on technogenic and environmental safety and emergency situations decided to introduce restrictive measures to prevent the spread of corona and rusus. Yes, all educational institutions of the capital will be closed until April 3, and children will study remotely. WHO has declared a pandemic. Follow the recommendations of the Ministry of Health.
