"Education without borders": an educational project for schoolchildren of grades 5-11 will be launched on Ukrainian television

On Monday, March 14, " Learning Without Borders " will be launched - a joint educational project of the Ministry of Education and Science of Ukraine , the Ministry of Culture and Information Policy, Ukrainian TV channels PLUSPLUS, " Pixel " and regional channels of the Public Broadcaster, as well as online television platforms M EGOG O , Kyivstar TB , 1 +1 vide o and s weet.t v .

"The brutal war of the Russian Federation against Ukraine continues for the eighteenth day. The Armed Forces of Ukraine and Teroboron units defend our country with dignity and repel the occupiers! Now our task is to organize and launch the educational process, at least where the security situation allows. To this end, we have joined forces with colleagues and partners and prepared additional tools for distance education, such as the " Learning without borders " project , said Minister of Education and Science Serhiy Shkarlet .

The project involves the broadcasting of video lessons for schoolchildren in grades 5-11. Each day will be devoted to a separate discipline. From March 14 to 18 (Monday-Friday), the following lessons will be broadcast:

·         March 14 – Ukrainian language;

·         March 15 – mathematics;

·         March 16 - history of Ukraine;

·         March 17 – Ukrainian language;

·         March 18 - mathematics.

Yes, the children's television channel " Pixel " will broadcast lessons for the 5th grade daily at 10:00 a.m. and for the 6th grade at 11:00 a.m. PLUYSPLUS , which is part of 1+1 media, will show lessons for schoolchildren of three grades: 7th grade from 10:00 a.m. daily, 8th grade from 11:00 a.m. and 11th grade from 12:00 p.m. Regional channels of Sospilny will broadcast classes for the 9th grade at 10:00 a.m. and for the 10th grade at 11:00 a.m. , respectively. Also, all the mentioned lessons can be viewed on online television platforms MEGOGO, Kyivstar TV, 1+1 video, sweet.tv both live and at any convenient time absolutely free of charge.

"Learning without borders" is our joint attempt to immerse schoolchildren in grades 5-11 in the exciting world of new knowledge with the help of television and online platforms. To remind that everything will be fine and that we will build a bright tomorrow together , " commented the authors of the project.

The project is implemented on the basis of the Ukrainian online timetable   - an initiative of the Ministry of Education and Science of Ukraine, within which students of grades 1-11 can join video lessons posted on the YouTube platform. Anyone who wants to can add new lessons from the schedule to their Google calendar to receive notifications about the start of the broadcast.
