Zaruvna Olga - Intellectual Property Protection Specialist (trainee)

If someone had told me that I would get an internship at 1+1 media, I would not have believed it. Such a thought always seemed unrealistic to me.

Dare to apply for an internship was extremely difficult, especially considering that a video resume is a must. It took me several months to build up the courage to do it. And how happy I am now that at a certain moment I gathered my spirit and still pressed the "send" button.

A week later, I got a phone call and I received a test assignment. And then came the moment of the interview. I don't remember the last time I was so nervous.

Those few days of waiting for the final answer stretched like months. So I waited! To the question: "Would you like to do an internship with us? Are you still interested in this offer?" in my head it sounded: "Are you still asking? Of course I WANT!".

The first working day was February 14. It was very memorable. And from the first day, the real work began. I was impressed by the atmosphere of openness and friendliness. It immediately became clear to me that 1+1 media is not just a company, but a big family that you want to become a part of from the first minutes you step outside the door of the office.

"Work that everyone can see" is not empty words. When dealing with dozens of sites filled with pirated content, it's always easy to see the results of the work done. And also, you feel responsible for your actions, because every changed status in SUDUM, every sent letter has its consequences. Therefore, the feeling when the search shows sites where our video content is legally posted gives a boost of vigor for further work.

Internship is constant learning, daily work, which is a part of the overall big business. You understand that you are part of something bigger and more extraordinary. It inspires me and pushes me to continue to work relentlessly. In addition, interns have the opportunity to attend various seminars from the company's employees, which helps to better understand the work of television and, in general, the mechanisms of the functioning of the media sphere. This is a good opportunity to learn something new and have a very interesting and useful time.

I wake up every morning with a good mood, because I know that I will be working in a team of professionals who are ready to share their experience. Here I especially mention my internship supervisor Vasya Oleksiyevets, who is always ready with a smile to answer hundreds of my questions and help me solve the tasks. I'm amazed that he still hasn't gone crazy from my presence. All this clearly shows the embodiment of the values of 1+1 media, which include openness, respect and love, responsibility and courage.

Almost two months of internship have passed and this time has flown somehow quickly. But it is enough for me to say that I want to continue working here. Therefore, I want to direct my words to those who still doubt. No need to be afraid! Believe in yourself, your strengths and dreams. If I succeeded, so can you, just dare to take the first step.
