Maria Polyakova will become the ambassador of the Higher School of Media & Production 1+1 media

From February 15, within the framework of the Children's Media School of the Higher School of Media & Production , a new course "Children's Media School" will be launched , the ambassador of which will be 14-year-old Maria Polyakova, the daughter of the pop diva of the Ukrainian scene, Ola Polyakova. The course is designed to acquaint children with all stages of creating a TV product: from work in the frame to installation of the final product.

As part of the cooperation, Maria will inspire the participants to turn their passion for media and television into professional skills and will accompany schoolchildren in learning the world of television from the inside.

The course is designed for children aged 8 to 15 and will last 1 month. Its curriculum will include 6 modules in separate areas: journalist, operator, presenter, director, vlogger, reporter. Students will be able to try themselves in different roles and determine which of the future television career vectors they like best.

"I am extremely pleased that Masha was offered such a responsible and honorable task - to be an ambassador for the new course of the Higher School of Media & Production 1+1 media. I know for sure that the more opportunities parents will show their children from school age, the more areas we will introduce them to, the easier it will be for them to choose their future profession. And even more so, if it concerns the media sphere or show business, because, at first glance, our creative industry requires huge professional skills, so the opportunity to learn about it from school age is exactly what is needed," says Olya Polyakova .

The training will be conducted by specialists of 1+1 media, and individual classes of the program will be attended by guests of the course: show business stars and presenters of the 1+1 and 2+2 channels, who will share advice from their own experience and give their advice for improving the professional skills of the course participants.

"For the new course, we decided to invite Maria, because she knows the peculiarities of the television profession and the specifics of work in show business from an early age. Masha and our students are of the same age, which will add even more informality and ease to the process of exchanging experiences, which will definitely affect the general atmosphere during training. This is exactly what our team wants to give students," comments Yuriy Bilokur , head of the Higher School of Media & Production.
